Omam podi

Oma podi

This is one of the snacks which i used to make during weekends.  It will be perfect with hot coffee or tea. My mom's favourite one she used to ask me to do this often.

Ingredient 
Ajwain/omam -1tbspn(we should not add more otherwise it will bitter taste)
Gram flour- 1cup
Rice flour-1/4cup
Turmeric powder 1tbspn 
Asafoetida 1 pinch
Butter 1 tbspn
Salt as required 
Oil 

Steps
1. Grind ajwain in mixer grinder and soak it in water for 3mins.
2. Mix gram flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, asafoetida, butter and salt together.
3. Add water and soaked ajwain water to make a sticky dough.
4. Put it in murukku press .
5. Heat a pan with oil.
6. Oil should be medium flame and fry the omam podi.
7. After fried all omam podi take some curry leaves and fry it in same oil.
8. Put it over omam podi for garnishing.
