Prawn biryani
Biryani is all time favourite for everyone. But today i made with prawn. During lockdown, its difficult to get meat and sea foods and today we got prawn. So I thought of making prawn biryani.
Ingredient
Basmathi rice 1 cup
Onion 2 large size
Tomato 2 small size
Ginger garlic paste 2tbspn
Cardamom 2
Cinnamon 1stick
Green chilli 2
Coconut milk 1cup
Prawn 250g
Coriander leaves 1bunch
Mint leaves 1 bunch
Curd 2tbspn
Water 1/2 cup
Oil 3tbspn
Red chilli powder- 2tbspn
Salt as required
Steps
1. First soak the rice for 30mins.
2. Heat a cooker and add 3tbspn of oil.
3. Add cinnamon, cardamom and onion.
4. Cook it for 3 mins.
5. Then add ginger garlic paste and saute it until raw smell gone.
6. Add tomato and green chilli and cook it for 5 mins.
7. Then add red chilli powder and saute it well.
8. Add prawn, mint leaves, curd and coriander leaves.
9. Now add soaked rice and saute it to gether.
10. Add coconut milk and water. Put some salt for seasoning.
11. Press cook for 3 whistle and serve hot with onion raita
