Aloo Masala is an Indian style spicy potato hash. 
It is a quick and easy recipe, and is an excellent 
side for lunch/dinner. 

It goes extremely well with rice/chapathi/roti 
and dal.  If I ask about one vegetable that everyone loves, 
what would be the answer? I guess, most of 
us will answer as Potato                                                                       

It’s also one of the best vegetable dishes — 
inexpensive, quick and delicious — to add to
 your repertoire as a home cook. There are 
various way to prepare this dish in various 
part of India. And Today I am sharing this way 
and am sure that you will enjoy this recipe.

If you have preboiled potatoes, we can make 
this recipe within 10mins. 
                                                                                                      

Ingredient                                                                                              

Potato - 3 large size
Onion -2 medium size                                                                                  
Tomato- 3 medium size
Ginger garlic paste - 1tbspn
Capsicum -1 small size
mustard seed - 1/2 tbspn
cumin seed - 1tbspn
Chilli powder -1 tbspn
Green chilli - 2 finely chopped.
Turmeric powder -1/4tbspn
Garam masala - 1tbspn
Salt - as required
Oil - 2tbspn

Steps

1. Cook the potato in cooker for 3-4 whistle.
2. Heat a pan and add 2 tbpsn of oil.
3. Add Mustard and cumin seed and add onion once it popped out.
4. Saute onion until it becomes golden brown.
5. Add Capsicum and green chilli and saute it for 2 mins then add ginger garlic paste, cook until raw smell goes off.
6. Add tomato and saute it altogether.
7. Then add all spices(chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala).
8. Mix it together and add little water.
9. Add boiled potato and mix altogether.
10. Add some salt and required water.
11. Cook for 5mins and serve with hot rice.
