Kara chutney
We all have different type of chutney for idly, dosa.
Ingredient
Chana dhal 1tbspn
Urud dhal 1 1/2tbspn
Onion 2 small size
Tomato 2 large size
Coconut 2 pieces
Kashmiri red chilli 2
Red chilli 2
Mustard 1/2tbspn
Curry leaves
Salt as required
Oil 3tbspn
Steps
1. Heat a pan and add 2tbspn of oil.
2. Add 1tbspn of urud dhal, chana dhal and fry it to turn golden color.
3. Add onion and cook for 2mins.
4. Add tomato, coconut and red chilli 2nos and Kashmiri red chilli.
5. Saute it for 5mins.
6. Rest until it becomes cool and grind it with salt to form smooth mixture.
7. Heat a pan with 1tbspn of oil.
8. Add mustard, curry leaves, red chilli and urud dhal .
9. Now add the whole into grinded chutney.
