Paneer kofta
Paneer kofta is a popular Indian vegetarian dish made of paneer and aloo balls served with smooth, rick and creamy gravy.
Ingredient
Paneer 200g
Aloo 3
Cashew nut 20
Corn flour 2 tbspn
Gram flour 4tbspn
Garam masala 2tbspn
Turmeric powder 1/4tbspn
Chilli powder 1tbspn
Onion - 1large
Tomato- 3 large
Ginger 1 inch
Garlic- 6
Sugar 1tbspn
Kashmiri red chilli - 2
Kasthuri methi 1tbspn
Salt
Cinnamon 1inch
Cardamom 3
Clove 3
Oil
Steps
1. Heat a tawa and add 1tbspn of oil.
2. Add cinnamon and cardamom then add onion, saute it for 2mins.
3. Add tomato and red chilli.
4. Cook for 2 mins. Then add 10 cashew nut, ginger and garlic.
5. Rest it for 5mins and grind it to form soft mixture.
6. Heat a pan and add 2tbspn of oil.
7. Add grinded mixture, sugar and salt.
8. Sprinkle kasthuri methi on top of it.
9. Add fried kofta ball into the gravy.
10. We can add fresh cream on it to give rich texture.
Making of kofta
1. Boil the potato.
2. Mash the potato and mix with grated paneer.
3. Add garam flour, chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, cashews altogether.
4. Make a small ball and roll it in corn flour.
5. Deep Fry it in oil.
