Manjal vaada This is the most famous snacks in south tamil nadu(Tiruchendur, kayalpatnam...). My favourite one. Whenever i visit  my native,it's a must have dish.As it's quarantine time I can't go to my native to eat it and i am craving for this one now. So i learnt the secret recepie from my cousin and wanted to share this amazing recepie to everyone. Today I made with Masi(type of fish) for stuffing. We can also use prawn or chicken Ingredient  Rice flour -1 cup Grated coconut- 1/4 cup Turmeric powder- 2tbspn Boiled rice- 1/4 cup Salt- as required Water - as required(1 1/2 cup) Oil - as required For stuffing  Onion -2 medium size Grated coconut -1/4 cup Chilli powder -2 tbspn Maasi- 2-3tbspn Salt- as required Onion - 2tbspn Steps 1. First we need to knead the dough. To make a dough, need to grind boiled rice with turmeric powder.  2. Masala pasta Pasta is my favourite  recipe. My sister’s liked to have this with cheese. So I made the same with cheese.we can also add chicken with pasta. But today I am sharing veg pasta. Ingredients: 1. Pasta – 1 cup 2. Onion - 2 small size (finely chopped) 3. Tomato – 5 (finely chopped) 4. Green chilli - 2 sliced 5. Ginger garlic paste 1tbpsn 6. Oil - 3 tablespoon 7. Salt - to taste 8. Chilli powder – 2 tbspn 9. Tomato sauce - 1tbpsn 10. Chilli sauce- 1tbspn 11. Peas – ¼ cup 12. Garam masala - 1tbpsn 12. Water – as required(approx 3 cup) Steps: 1. Heat the cooker and add 2 tablespoon of oil.  2. Add Onion and green chilli and saute them till onion turns golden brown 3.Add tomato and saute them until raw smell gone. Note : Ratio of onion and tomato should be 1:2 4. Add chilli powder, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, garam masala and mix them well. 5. Rest them for 2 mins and add peas. 6. Adai Dosa

Adai dosa I wanted to share the recipe so I did. This is the recipe which we can make with leftover flour. We can have it as breakfast with tomato chutney. Ingredient 1. Dosa batter – 1 cup 2. Onion - 2 small size (finely chopped) 3. Green chilli - 2 sliced 4. Urud dal -2 tbsp 5. Oil - 3 tablespoon 6. Salt - to taste Steps: 1. Heat the pan or tawa and add 2 tablespoon of oil.  2. Onion and green chilli and saute them. 3. Saute them until the onion turns golden brown  4. Make some space in middle of pan or tawa now add urud dhal. 5. Sprinkle some salt and saute dhal until turns into golden color. 6. Rest them for 5 min then mix them with flour. 7. Greace a dosa pan or tawa with few drops of oil. 8. Heat it until hot enough. Pour a ladle full of dosa batter on the centre of tawa. 9. Spread it evenly in a circular shape to get a dosa. 10. Kothu Chappathi Egg Kothu Chapathi is one of my recent tries.I wanted to try the hotel style kothu parotta recipe but i did few changes according to my taste. We can have this without any salna. We can make this recipe for those who are lazy to chew like me. We can make same thing with maida but today I made with wheat. Ingredient 1. Chappathi - 4nos. 2. Onion - 2 large size (finely chopped) 3. Tomato 2 medium size (finely chopped) 4. Green chilli - 2 sliced 5. Red chilli powder- 1 1/2 tablespoon 6. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon 7. Garam masala - 1/2 tablespoon 8. Corrainder leaves -few 9. Oil - 4 tablespoon 10. Turmeric powder -1/2 tablespoon 11. Egg -2 12. pepper - 1/2 tablespoon 13. Salt - to taste Steps: 1. Adai Rice flour adai is very healthy and filling breakfast. You can make it during evening for snacks as well.It can be served with coconut thovayal or tomato chutney. Ingredient Rice flour -1 cup Onion 2-3 finely chopped Green chilli -2 finely chopped Curry leaves - 2 springs(finely chopped) Corriander leaves - 1/4 cup(finely chopped) Turmeric powder -1/4 tablespoon Chilli powder -1 tablespoon Grated coconut -1/2 cup Salt to taste Oil- for roasting adai Water - to make dough Method: 1. Mix rice flour, onion, chilli, grated coconut, turmeric powder, chilli powder, corriander leaves, curry leaves together. Sprinkle water little by little and knead to form a smooth dough. 2. Dough should be softer. 3. Let it rest for 10 mins. 4. Take a lemon sized dough to make the adai and flatten it with finger. 5. Heat a tawa on medium flame. Put some oil for frying the adai. Wait for 2-3 mins and then transfer the rolled out dough to the tawa. 6. Cook on low heat till both

Nungu paal/palm fruit milk Nungu paal is a delicious summer drink. Easily affordable and easy making Ingredient : Nungu 6-7 Milk -250ml Rose syrup -2 tablespoon Sugar -as required Mango -1 small size Steps to be followed 1. Boil the milk in a pan with some water. 2. Rest it until become cool. 3. Remove the skin of mango and palm fruit and make them into pieces 4. Then add sugar and rose syrup into milk. 5. Then add small piece of mango and palm fruit. 6. Keep it in fridge for 20mins and serve the summer delicious drink.
